Members of Pathfinder Lab attended MICCAI 2026, sharing our research in computational pathology and exchanging ideas with the international medical imaging community. Poster presentations and discussions offered opportunities to explore new approaches to AI-powered image analysis and connect with fellow researchers.

On September 27, 2026, members of Pathfinder Lab joined Computational Pathology Night in Strasbourg, France, during MICCAI 2026. The evening brought together the computational pathology community for an informal gathering, offering an opportunity to meet fellow researchers and share conversations beyond the conference sessions.

Pathfinder Lab organized the REG² 2026 Challenge at MICCAI 2026 in collaboration with international partners, bringing together researchers working on AI-powered pathology report generation.

We celebrated Hyeseong Lee’s Master’s graduation with a group photo and a fun dinner together. It was a great chance to celebrate all of his hard work and the memories we shared in the lab. Congratulations, Hyeseong, and we wish you all the best in your next adventure!

Sungman Hong received a Presentation Award in the KOGO Graduate Presentation program at the 35th KOGO Annual Conference, held at Sejong University from September 3 to 5, 2026. His presentation was titled “Integrated Multi-Omics Phenotype of Homologous Recombination Deficiency in Breast Cancer.”

Harim Chun has been awarded a Predoctoral Fellowship from the National Research Foundation of Korea, supporting two years of doctoral research from September 2026 to August 2028. The project will use spatial transcriptomics to investigate immunosuppressive niches associated with immune checkpoint inhibitor resistance in gastric cancer.
